Volunteer League 2020
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that CROWNies are hands down the best volunteers around! For several years now, we have provided the arena parties for Your Horse Live and Blenheim Eventer Challenge as well as the BE event at Swalcliffe Park. We call upon you all every year to help set up and run the BRC Area 5 FOTH Eventer Challenge, our own Halloween Hunter Trial, Stressless Dressage and numerous championship events and you are all SO generous with your time and we honestly couldn’t do it all without you.

So, with that in mind, we thought it was about to time to find a fun way to repay you for your time and with that we have come up with our new 2020 Volunteer League! What’s even more exciting is that this league has kindly been sponsored by non-other than the fabulous Cotswolds Distillery who we are sure many of you are well versed with their delicious gins and perhaps their whiskey! We are so excited to be working with Cotswolds Distillery on this and are very grateful for their support to be able to give something fun back to you, our very much valued members.

So, this year we will be running two volunteer leagues so that you can be in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes in return for your time. The first league will run from January to June and the second from July to December with an overall league celebrating the members with the most amount of volunteer points collected across the year. How it will work is that for every half a day volunteering you do and complete; you will earn yourself 1 point and for every full day of volunteering completed you will get 2 points. At the end of each league, the number of points will be totted up by us and the member with the most amount of points will win a fun day out with a tour for two around the Cotswolds Distillery! Not only that, but three lucky runner ups will also win some CROWN goodies.

The first league is now open, so to be in with a chance of winning these tickets, please do help where you can and keep your eyes peeled for several volunteering opportunities throughout the year!

Please note, this league is also open to our junior members should they wish to volunteer at events and prizes will be a little different and more age appropriate.
